ExpSAFE Blast Calculator Pro is an enhanced version of the free Apple iPhone app that has been developed to enable blast wave predictions for Dangerous Goods Class 1.1 in order to support quick-scan safety reviews.  The application can be considered as a Level 1 Analysis tool that is intended to estimate blast effects from the detonation of a given quantity of explosives at a specified distance for safety assessment purposes. The calculator sacrifices complexity for simplicity and ease of use.  For this reason this application is not intended for critical analysis or formal decision making purposes.
 
FEATURES OF THIS VERSION

All the similar functionality available in the Standard version but with the following added inclusions:

* Toggle between imperial and metric units for input parameters.
* Toggle between pressure units Pascals and PSI when viewing blast parameters
* Displays a brief summary of potential injury and damage linked to estimated blast wave peak overpressure based on available open source documentation.
* New. Conduct generic QD assessments based on Scale Factor with ability to switch between Distance or NEQ input. This view replaces the safeguarding estimations in the free app.
* New. Estimate explosion danger area distances linked to UXO demolition activities based on UN Technical Note 10.20.
