The Hawai‘i Executive Collaborative is a group of volunteer local CEOs, senior decision-makers, and global leaders who work together to address systemic issues and serve as catalysts for driving lasting change for Hawai‘i.
HEC is a nonprofit organization that focuses on mobilizing and supporting leaders, aligning of efforts, and fostering a leadership culture that is risk-taking, collaborative, and rooted in Hawai‘i’s Soul. Every person involved in HEC is actively engaged – there are no bystanders.
Leaders involved in HEC have leveraged Hawai‘i Community Foundation’s CHANGE framework to take collective action by creating initiatives based on shared goals and common data. Initiatives focus on addressing issues such as Hawai‘i’s high cost of living, affordable housing, building of industries to attract investments to the state, innovation and technology, workforce development, and education.
HEC’s flagship annual forum, the Hawai‘i Executive Conference, is a platform that allows these leaders to share results, identify new opportunities for collaboration and inspire innovation.
