Many Q-switched pulsed lasers used for laser tattoo removal, display the emitted energy as "Millijoules per Pulse".
However, the majority of published technical papers detailing the use of lasers for tattoo removal, describe the energy in terms of energy density. This is known as "Fluence" which is usually displayed in "Joules per cm2".
The purpose of this free app is to provide a simple "converter" in order that laser tattoo removal practitioners can easily compare their pulsed energy laser settings with the settings described in clinical papers.
It should be noted that this app's conversion applies to "Top Hat" beam profiles and not to "Gaussian" beam profiles.
