Color Peeker is a realtime digital color meter that sits quietly in your menu bar. It shows the hex code of the color under your mouse pointer. 

You can also enable Copy on Right Click, so that when you right click, the color code is copied immediately.

(Please note that the app will ask permission for Screen Recording. It has to be granted for the app to work, but the app does not store any part of the screen.)
