In my ministry an important part of it is praying for others. I found it hard to keep track of the people I had promised to pray for and felt terrible if I forgot. Simple alarms didn't quite give me what I wanted. So in this app I made sure that we had the ablity to create custom alarms throughout the day, that tell you what you need to pray for and when.
Throughout the day, I sometimes thought wouldn't it be nice to actually know when someone praying for you. So in the Burden Bearers app when someone prays for you, you are instantly notified. You can then respond and continue to have a conversation from the prayer point.
So from those ideas, Burden Bearers was birthed.
