The objective of HandHeld Monitor is to help you become aware of your emotional state and activities over time.. Checkin once a day at 5PM.

HandHeld Monitor data collected are your daily responses to the survey questions, and optionally your age and gender. No other personal identifying information is collected. The HandHeld Monitor app does not collect activity tracker data. Your email address is used for account management and to index your collected data. The collected data, without your email, is shared with the McGill University research team.

Sharing your data is voluntary. You may also request your data be erased, without giving any reason, by sending an email to [email protected].

The state and activities questionnaires have been specifically tailored by McGill researchers. You may personally benefit by being aware of your daily symptoms. We hope that the study results will contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and help us identify services and programs that would benefit people with long term covid.
