Provides a new reading experience.
By highlighting the same words exhaustively in the same color, you can expand your field of vision and view the text from a bird's eye view.
If normal reading is one dimensional, it is extended to two dimensions.
This highlighting aids reading in several contexts, for example
(1) Difficult sentences
Even if you don't understand the entire sentence, if you can understand 90% of it, you can guess the remaining 10%.
Similarly, even if you do not understand a word, you can create "mental leeway" by making the same word the same color.
This is especially helpful for documents that are not well understood.
In addition, if you are having trouble understanding the content, you can easily go back to an earlier explanation than the one you are currently reading.
For example, it is easier to find where an unfamiliar word is explained previously.
(2) Familiar text
In the case of a familiar document that you have caught up with, you know what the key words are.
They can be effectively selected and highlighted.
This in turn makes it easier to spot and focus on new sections (with less highlighting) that are unfamiliar to the reader.
On the other hand, don't spend a lot of money on coloring. It will take your focus away from reading.
PPL achieves highlighting with a few taps. No keyboard or long press taps are required.
Ideal for use on touch devices (iPhone, iPad).
Colors are also automatically assigned.
This allows readers to highlight exhaustively with minimal movement (semi-automatic, patent pending).
PPL is a Safari extension, so it can be applied to basically "anything" on the web.
There are other pages that are valid besides App Preview videos (Mozilla CSS 1), Wikipedia History2, Mathematics3)).
For example, here are some sites for papers (arXiv, ar5iv)
https://arxiv.org
with a dedicated Safari extension
https://apps.apple.com/jp/app/with-ar5iv-arxiv/id1610822864
to read difficult papers with ease.
It is also effective when applied to news sites and Internet bulletin boards.
Since this is a new technology, you may even be the discoverer of new highlighting strategies.
No communication during operation, and no files are stored or read at all. In other words, privacy protection is perfect.
It is a buy-out. There are no extra charges or depressing ads.
It runs on iPhone and iPad by itself, without any server integration.
There are also highlights that can be used for memorization. Please consider this only as an extra.
That's all, enjoy a new reading experience with PPL.

We do not recommend using this function on pages that require some kind of input, such as password authentication or address registration.
The page layout may shift a little when you make it colorable by tapping. Please use this function on pages where the main purpose is to read text.
In addition, some parts of the page with an extremely large amount of text (not the entire page) may not be processed.
This is to reduce the load on the iPhone and iPad. Please understand this.
