Complete the required docking maneuvers and other tasks, like pulling an asteroid without crashing, running out of fuel or oxygen, or overheating while flying close to the sun. The player must successfully complete each level before moving on to the next one.
Each level has progressively harder objectives, with more time, fuel, and movement constraints than the last. Docking stays a central part of the game, but other factors disrupt the player’s attempts to complete the level.
Players will have to make their flying as efficient as they can, to get the highest score possible. Factors like the speed at which the player travels (which reduces time and increases oxygen score but decreases fuel score) are decisions which can change the end score.
Newtonian physics: thrusters apply a force on the spacecraft, which makes it translate and rotate. The spacecraft does not stop translating or rotating until a force is applied in the opposite direction for the right amount of time. Thrusters use fuel, which reduces the mass of the spacecraft.
