A municipality, or organization such as a fish & wildlife or game commission typically invites and promotes patrons in their community to download and use the Wild Tracker App so they can then benefit from the data collected while using it. It's useful for trying to determine the density of various types of animals in geographic locations. For example, it can be useful by the Game Commission for determining the number of animals that are allowed to be harvested. It can be used for determining which areas to be more cautious when driving a vehicle. There are many scientific and biological reasons for tracking animals such as providing safety to both animals and humans.
