That ship stopped in the Carribean hub of the african slave trade (an island known as Curacao where the oldest sinnergogue in the Americas simply "happened" to be...obviously NOT a coincidence that was in the same place as the hub of the african slave trade in the Americas) and then that ship arrived in what is now known as Manhattan.
