In the mysterious forest inside the pack, where the moonlight falls on the treetops and the wind sings only for those who listen, ten shadows dwell.
An Eurasian Eagle-Owl as big, old and mighty as a rock. He sits on the highest branch of the pine tree, from there he can see the whole world, into which he peacefully hoots.
Along the quiet streams, the Blakiston’s Fish Owl appears. Its eyes gleam into the moonlit night. Where her wings float, the water calms and the fish are no longer afraid. It talks through the woods.
Highest up in the spruce trees is the Eurasian Pygmy Owl, barely bigger than a pine cone, but with eyes as deep as a forest well. In those eyes you can see the silence of the needles and the shadow of the branches. Even the smallest can see everything.
In the old orchard, the Little Owl is hooting, remembering old habits. It is the guardian of the home, the friend of gardens and stone walls. Wise but cheerful.
The Tawny Owl lives in the hollow of an oak tree. He is silent because he knows he is where no one expects him.
On the northern plains, where snow covers the ground for most of the year, the Snowy Owl reigns supreme. Beautiful and remote, like a silent landscape.
In the deep taiga, the Boreal Owl hides. It never appears in the same place twice, but everyone knows the tit sees it.
At the edges of the woods, in the fields and in the groves, dwell the Long-eared Owl. Stealthy, listening to all sides.
And finally, in the oldest parts of the forest, where the sun doesn't shine and the trees remember a time before humans, lives the Ural Owl. Like a dream of a bygone time that no one has seen, but everyone talks about.
Once in a while, these owls join together to let you listen under the stars as the air glides with feathers and the night hoots.
