We set out to build a digital jigsaw that feels as close as possible to real wooden puzzles: satisfying piece physics, gentle “clicks,” and a cozy atmosphere you want to linger in.

We’ve read the books cover to cover to choose the right images, then our art director Lisa Frick created 12 brand-new puzzle motifs inspired by Gunilla Bergström’s beautiful, playful originals.

CALM BY DESIGN
Soft, organic sound effects (paper, wood—recorded by us in our studio) and a relaxing soundtrack create a focused, soothing space without noisy distractions.

We grew up with Alfie. Our parents read the books to us, now we read them to our kids. With Puzzle, Alfie Atkins! we like to think we're doing our small part of passing the stories of Alfie on to the next generation.
