Too many mosquitoes?
Try this sound-based deterrent on your Apple Watch.
This app emits specific high-frequency sounds designed to disturb mosquitoes, especially fertilized females (the ones responsible for bites).
Two sound modes included:
22 kHz Mode (ultrasound)
Inaudible to humans. Frequently used in so-called mosquito repellent devices. May disturb some mosquito species.
~700 Hz Mode (audible buzz)
Mimics the sound of a male mosquito.
Studies suggest this can repel fertilized females, which generally avoid males after mating.
Fun fact: around 80–95% of female mosquitoes in any given area are already fertilized.
The male-like buzz may discourage their approach.
Great for camping, evenings out, travel, or summer nights outdoors.
No ads, no in-app purchases.
Important disclaimer:
This app is not a scientifically proven mosquito repellent.
It emits two sound types that may disturb some mosquitoes, but no guaranteed effect is provided.
Scientific consensus on sound-based mosquito repellents remains inconclusive.
