Once upon a time, there was a young girl who spun beautiful cloths. So talented was she with the spinning wheel that she could transform straw into gold thread, or at least that´s what everyone believed. One day, the King wanted to see if this rumor was really true, so he locked the girl in a tower and ordered her to transform mountains of straw into gold.

This was nothing more than a silly legend. In reality, she had no idea how to spin golden thread out of straw! That was when a magic dwarf with an unusual name came to her aid. But in exchange for his help, the girl would need to give him something very valuable…. her first born son!
