Plymouth, Massachusetts will celebrate Illuminate Thanksgiving on Saturday, November 19, 2016 as part of America's Hometown Thanksgiving Weekend. Illuminate Thanksgiving will kick off at 4pm at the Hedge House on Water Street in Plymouth with an inspirational program filled with live music, inspiring words, and illuminated art. Following the program, downtown Plymouth shops and restaurants will illuminate their windows with festive displays and offer special entertainment, programming and more! Plymouth 400, the organization planning the 400th anniversary of the founding of Plymouth Colony, invites you to join us as we, together with partners around the world, Illuminate Thanksgiving. This global event honors the words of an American forefather, Governor William Bradford; "For as one small candle may light a thousand, so the light ehre kindled hath shone unto many."
We invite you to take part in this moment of reflection and inspiration by lighting a candle (on this app!) wherever you may be, by finding an Illuminate Thanksgiving event near you, or by hosting your own!
