Sound Out Chapter Books provide students, ages 7-12, with systematic opportunities to practice decoding one-syllable and simple two-syllable words. Books and Software are organized into six phonics-based difficulty levels, three books in each level. The books feature first grade readability, easy to follow story lines, and clear illustrations with captions.

The Sound Out Chapter Books App reads the books aloud as text is highlighted and lets students click on any word for identification. Engaging, interactive questions at the end of each story help students truly understand what’s read. An easy-to-use management system lets you select books for each student and stores student performance results.
