Welcome to the New Student Welcome Day (NSWD) 2024 of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK)! We are excited to start your new journey at HSUHK with this app! The NSWD 2024 app prepares you for the forthcoming campus life with a stamp collection campaign for a generous lucky draw, an AR photo-taking feature, and links to useful websites. Enjoy the NSWD tailor-made for you!

Stamp Collection:
We have set backdrops at 6 locations around the campus. Check out and scan the backdrops by clicking the ‘Scan Backdrops to Collect Stamps’ tab to collect a stamp and redeem a featured Handa, our beloved mascot of HSUHK. You will be eligible to participate in our lucky draw if you collect 4 out of 6 stamps and complete the evaluation form. You can always check your stamp collection progress in the ‘Stamp Collection Map’. Explore the campus and scan the backdrops!

Taking Photos with AR Handa:
We present you with an innovative AR feature in the NSWD app. Under the ‘AR Campus Hunt’ tab, you can take photos with the AR-projected Handa. We have prepared 6 sets of Handa in different looks and 2 photo frames for you to capture and share the unforgettable moments on the NSWD. Don’t forget to allow the app to access your camera and album.

NSWD Information:
The app provides important information such as schedules of the NSWD and details of the Academic Sessions. The ‘NSWD & HSUnity Carnival @ M3’ and ‘Academic Sessions’ tabs direct you to relevant websites listing the latest information for the event.
