Protege is an online music production school, founded by multi award-winning composer Richard
Schrieber and one of the world’s leading sync specialists Vikram Gudi.
Established in 2020, Protege teaches cutting edge composition & production techniques, equipping
the next generation of composers to create in-demand, licensable music for film, TV, advertising, and
computer games.
Through a 60 course, yearlong Masterclass, Protege guides its students through the processes
required to build a diverse, cinematic music catalogue that has impact, personality, and saleability, as
well as how to develop the mindset to always meet deadlines and consistently get music finished and
ready for release.
The brand new Protege App enhances the Masterclass experience even further. Students are now
able to:
- Access course materials on the go (including offline mode)
- Interact with Protege’s tutors and each other via our private groups and forums
- Communicate directly with one another via our secure direct messaging service
